Why hide events instead of deleting them?
You subscribe to a calendar because you need what's on it. The school calendar, the league schedule, community center's classes or your volunteer group's shifts.
Then every event shows up. The varsity basketball schedule when your child is on the JV team. Events for classrooms your children aren't in. Every division in the league, every class at the community center, every shift you didn't sign up for.
You want access to the calendar, but you don't need to see everything on it.
Most calendar apps make you choose: see every event, or unsubscribe and miss the ones that matter. Agenda Hero gives you a third option. Bring in all of it, then hide what you don't need.
- Keep the information: Hidden events aren't deleted, so they're there if plans change.

Why we built it
We're parents and we've dealt with this exact problem.
We subscribed to school calendars and group schedules because we needed the important information, and then watched our calendars fill up with events that had nothing to do with our families. So when we built Agenda Hero, we said we had to be able to hide them.
It's a small feature. But when your schedule comes from schools, teams, groups, and a dozen other places, it makes a real difference. Your calendar should help you see what's important, not make you sift through everything that isn't.
How do I hide an event in Agenda Hero?
There are two ways.
- From your calendar: hover over the event and click the eye icon.
- From inside the event: open it, click Visible at the bottom, choose Hidden, then click Save.
How do I see hidden events again?
When a calendar has hidden events, an eye icon appears in the bar at the top of the calendar. Click it to show your hidden events. To make one visible again, open it, switch Hidden to Visible, and click Save.
How do I bring a school or group calendar into Agenda Hero?
On a computer, open your Agenda Hero calendar, click Customize, choose Sources, then Add a source. Paste the calendar link from the school or group, or connect your Google Calendar. Then hide what you don't need.
Quick questions
Does hiding an event delete it?
No. Hidden events stay on your Agenda Hero calendar. They just don't show until you choose to see them.
Does hiding an event change the original calendar?
No. Hiding an event only affects your Agenda Hero calendar, not the original source.
Do hidden events show up when I print or share my calendar?
No. Hidden events are left off printed and shared views.
