One schedule, many ways to see it: make a printable or shareable calendar in Agenda Hero

In Agenda Hero, you add your events once and then choose how to see them: a month, a week, seven day columns, a list, event cards, cards with an image beside them, or several months on one page. Many layouts come in both an on-screen, digital version and a printable version. This allows you to share your calendar as a link, print it, or both.

Why choose how your schedule looks?

Not every schedule should look like a traditional calendar.

Think about all the plans in your life that come with dates and times. A team schedule, a Girl Scout troop's year, Mahjong group meet-ups, jury duty schedule, dates you’re signed up to volunteer, the PTA calendar and more.

Each one works best with a different visual layout. A season of games makes sense a month at a time, but jury duty is one week you need to see at a glance. A volunteer schedule might work best as a simple list, so you can scan what's next.

There’s a reason people take pride in picking out their personal planner each year. At Agenda Hero we’ve combined the physical planner you buy at Staples with the digital planner you create at Canva with multiple layouts and add to calendar functionality!

Most calendars decide how your schedule looks. Agenda Hero lets you decide.

  • Bring in the dates once: Paste them, upload a flyer or PDF, or pull them in from another calendar. Then try as many views as you like without touching the events.
  • Pick the shape that fits: Month, week, list, cards, and more, so the plan looks the way the people using it think about it.
  • Print it, share it, or both: Make a version for the screen and a version for the fridge.
  • Every view stays current: Whether it’s digital or printable, views update automatically when events change or are added, so you can print a fresh copy anytime.
  • Make it yours: Add emojis or leave them off, color-code by category, and add a title, banner image, or logo.

What calendar views can I choose from?

LayoutWhat it showsA good fit for
MonthA monthly calendar gridA season of games, a school year
WeekA weekly calendar viewA busy week, with the weekend at the bottom
Week columnsSeven equal day columns, side by side, Monday through Sunday or Sunday through SaturdayA week where every day matters equally
CardsEvent cards with detailsEvents that need more description, like club meetings
ListCompact rows, one event per lineScanning what's next, like a volunteer schedule
Side by sideAn image beside the event cardsShowing a flyer or logo next to the events
GridMonth cards, three or six per page, or all twelve on one pageA troop's or PTA's whole year at a glance
Printable listA printable list with configurable groupingA handout for a meeting or the fridge

The "good fit for" column is a suggestion. Use whatever works for your plan.

How do I make a printable calendar in Agenda Hero?

It takes four steps.

  1. Make a new calendar from your Agenda Hero dashboard and add your events. Paste the text, upload a flyer or PDF, or use Agenda Hero Magic.
  2. On a computer, click Customize, choose Views, then Add a view.
  3. Choose interactive (on screen) or printable, then pick a layout.
  4. Choose what shows on each event, like emojis, times, and location, and add a title, banner, or logo if you'd like. Then share the link or print it.

To share, click Share in the calendar's header and turn on Anyone with the link can view.

Free includes two views per calendar. Adding more requires Plus.

What's the difference between interactive and printable views?

An interactive view is made for screens. It's clickable and resizes for phones. A printable view is laid out to fit on paper. Many layouts come in both versions, so the same week can live on your phone and on your fridge.

Can I add a flyer, image, or logo?

Yes. The side-by-side layout shows an image next to your event cards, which is perfect for a flyer. You can also add a banner image and a logo to the header of a view.

Can I change the view later?

Yes. Changing a view's layout keeps it in the same place on your calendar, and you can preview the new layout before you commit. Your events never change when you switch views, so you can try as many as you like.

Quick questions

Does changing the view change my events?
No. Views only change how events are shown, not which events are on the calendar.

If an event changes, do I need to remake my printable calendar?
No. Printable views update automatically when events change. Just print a fresh copy.

Can I start the week on Monday?
Yes. You can choose which day the week starts on.

Can I hide the weekends?
You can shade weekends or mute weekend dates.

How many views can I make for free?
Two per calendar. Adding more requires Plus.

Want to share it with everyone in your club or troop?
Sharing a public link requires Plus. See how to share a planner.
