What you can do with Magic
Magic turns text, screenshots, and PDFs into calendar events you can review, edit, and send to a calendar.
Magic converts unstructured input into calendar events with titles, dates, times, and locations. Nothing is written to a calendar until you send it.
The steps
- Give Magic a source: paste text, upload an image or a PDF, or type the dates.
- Add anything the source leaves out in the additional context field.
- Review the events. Every field is editable, and you can ask for changes in plain language.
- Send the events to a calendar.
Giving Magic a source
| Page | Covers |
|---|---|
| Create events from text | Pasting a schedule, an email, or a note |
| From a screenshot or PDF | Images, photos of handouts, and PDFs |
| Using the additional context field | The year, the time zone, title prefixes, emojis |
Changing the results
Edit results with AI covers Magic Chat, which adds, changes, and removes events across the whole batch when you describe the change.
Sending the events somewhere
| Destination | Page |
|---|---|
| Google, Outlook, Apple, Office 365, an ICS feed, or an email invite | Send events to an external calendar |
| An Agenda Hero calendar you own | Add events to an Agenda Hero calendar |
Add events to a calendar covers the picker itself and what each kind of destination does after the first send.
