Schedule settings
Time zone, categories and labels, and who can add a planner's events to their own calendar.
Schedule settings is in the customize panel. Everything on it applies to the whole planner, not to one view.
Time zone
Set the planner's time zone, then choose how times are shown:
- Show times in this time zone: everyone sees the same clock times.
- Show in each visitor's time zone: times are converted for whoever is looking.
Categories and labels
Set these up once and they are available on every event and every view. You can still add or rename them from inside an event.
| Group | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Colors | The color categories events are assigned to |
| Who | People or groups an event is for |
| What | Topics or activity types, such as practice or fundraiser |
The planner's Filter control uses these, and so do source defaults.
Send to calendar
Chooses who can add this planner's events to their own calendar.
| Setting | Who |
|---|---|
| No one | Calendar tools are off for this planner |
| Just me | Only you |
| Collaborators | You and everyone you shared it with |
| Public visitors | Anyone who can see the planner |
Public visitors requires anyone with the link to be on, which is a Plus capability. Only the owner can change this setting.
Include controls in page puts the calendar control directly on supported views. With it off, the controls are still reachable from the Send to calendar button.
