Magic Chat changes the events Magic created when you describe the change, instead of editing each one by hand.
Magic Chat is the conversational editor for Magic results. Describe a change in plain language and it applies to the events on screen. An account is required.
What it can change
- Titles, emojis, descriptions, and locations
- Dates and times, including all-day and time zone
- Repeat patterns: frequency, the day or date it falls on, and an end date
- Which events exist: add events the source did not cover, or remove events you do not want
It works across the batch, so one instruction can change many events at once.
Adding more sources mid-conversation
Paste more text or attach another file in the chat and those events join the same batch.
Follow-up limit
Creating the first batch of events does not use a follow-up. After that, a free account includes a limited number of follow-ups. A Plus plan removes the limit.
On a planner
A planner has the same editor. Choose Add, then Chat with your calendar to edit. Changes there apply to the planner as you go, rather than waiting for a review step.
Reviewing the results
Nothing is written to a calendar while you edit. See Add events to a calendar when the batch is right.
