Using the additional context field
Tell Magic what your source leaves out: the year, the time zone, a prefix for every title, or emojis.
The additional context field applies to every event in the batch. Use it for information the source does not state, and for changes you want applied across all of them.
What to put in it
- Details the source omits: the year, the time zone, how long events run
- Whose events these are, when you manage a calendar for several people
- Anything to apply consistently across every event in the batch
Prefixing event titles
Ask Magic to add a prefix to every title it creates, such as a person's name or a project name. Upload one person's schedule with their name as the prefix, then repeat for the next person, to produce one calendar where each event title identifies who it belongs to.
Emojis
Describe the mapping you want, such as a car for travel or a ball for a game, and it is applied to every matching event in the batch.
Changing the results afterwards
The additional context field applies when the events are created. To change events that already exist, describe the change in Magic Chat.
